Meet the Owners

Hi! We’re Ben & Tiffany 

We’re so excited to continue Hammer & Stain in Plain City—a place where you can relax, get a little creative, and maybe leave with something you didn’t know you could make!

With four kids (yes, four!) and a dog keeping life busy, we truly understand how important it is to have a space to slow down, have fun, and spend quality time together. Whether it’s a girls’ night, date night, or family outing, we provide a spot where everyone feels welcome—no artistic talent required!

Plain City has been home for our family for years. Two of our kids have already graduated from Jonathan Alder High School, and we’re still cheering on the younger two as they make their way through. Most of our free time is spent at games, outside as a family, or running from one activity to the next.

We’re big fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Columbus Blue Jackets… but let’s just say things get a little competitive in our house when it comes to the Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers.

We can’t wait to meet you, create with you, and watch this space grow becoming part of so many fun memories in our community. 

 

Hammer & Stain Plain City Introduction

Initially started in 2023, Hammer & Stain Plain City is a fun, laid-back, Do-It-Yourself Studio specializing in Home Decor. Our mission as a local business is to provide a place for people to come unwind, feel welcome and enjoy themselves, while creating something memorable for their home. We offer public workshops and private events where you can create beautiful décor, cozy hand knit blankets or even decorative cookies! With all of the tools, materials and instructors provided, there is no need to have experience, we’re here to walk through the entire process with you, so you can relax and have fun. You leave the workshop with your finished product. Workshops typically last about 2 hours. Book a project online or visit us at our brand-new studio to learn more today!
